start->Run->type cmd
Open command prompt.
change to the directory in which u want to make folder.
type
mkdir .\con\\
Or
Md .\con\\
You can choose folder name from the name given below
CON
LPT1
LPT2
LPT3
LPT4
LPT5
LPT6
LPT7
LPT8
LPT9
AUX
---------
Logic behind this is : IN Windows above names are researved words and you cann't create folder or file with above name. Once you will create the folder nobody will be able to delete it in normal way. I have tested it with XP 2000 and 2003. Windows 98 is currently not available to me for testing. If you can test it on Windows 98 then please do it and let me know the result. I expect it to work.

In my vista I made a con folder using Alt+255 con .Since then i can't be able to delete it .
Same thing done in a separate manner-->Alt+0160 con .But it is deleted .
But con folder made by both way mentioned above can be deleted in xp .I have tried .
Can u plz tell me why this happened & how to get rid of it in vista?

hey look actually dese folders cannot be deleted normally which i already written in my post nd sorry to tel u i hav not checked it in vista dat tooo i hav mentioned in my post but still i'll try checking in vista about what u r tellin & let u knw as soon as possible....
